The software can be installed on private computers.
In order to obtain an ANSYS teaching license, fill out the registration form (available only in Polish). Once submitted, you will receive an e-mail message with the setup guide.
In order to obtain an ANSYS research license, write an e-mail to oprogramowanie@cri.agh.edu.pl. The message should contain your position and the unit/faculty you're employed by. It also must be sent from an AGH e-mail address. In response to such a message, you will receive the setup guide.
Neither the research nor the teaching license has a model size limit.
All of the licenses are network (floating) licenses, which means that licenses can be shared between multiple users within one network. The software can be installed on multiple computers, however the number of owned licenses limits simultaneous usage.
The Academic Research license is intended for research (including doctoral degree research) financed by the academic funds by scholarships, grants, or directly by the University. It can also be used for teaching.
The Academic Teaching license is intended strictly for teaching, as well as student projects and demonstrations.
