A suite of modular software and advanced numerical analysis tools on the ANSYS Workbench platform for finite element method (FEM) calculations and computer simulations. It allows for a complex simulation in nearly all areas of science and industry.

AGH employees, doctoral students and students have access to the ANSYS Academic Campus Multiphysics 25/250 + ANSYS LS-DYNA license.


Research license contains:
25 ANSYS Academic Research Mechanical and CFD licenses
25 ANSYS Academic Research HF licenses
25 ANSYS Academic Research EM licenses
25 ANSYS Academic Research Redhawk NX licenses
25 ANSYS Academic Research PowerArtist XP licenses
25 ANSYS Academic Research LS-DYNA licenses
450 additional cores -  ANSYS Academic Research HPC + ANSYS Academic Research HPC Workgroup 256.

Teaching license contains:
250 ANSYS Academic Teaching Mechanical & CFD licenses
250 ANSYS Academic Teaching HF licenses
250 ANSYS Academic Teaching EM licenses
250 ANSYS Academic Teaching Redhawk SD licenses
250 ANSYS Academic Teaching PowerArtist PT licenses

ANSYS LS-DYNA license contains:
- 25 ANSYS LS-DYNA research licenses
- 300 ANSYS HPC Research LS-DYNA (computing cores) licenses
- 250 ANSYS LS-DYNA teaching licenses

Instructions

Acquiring licence data

  1. To obtain licence details, go to https://licences.agh.edu.pl/.
  2. Read the introductory information and log in using your AGH University email credentials.
  3. From the top menu, select the “Licences” tab, then “Available licences”.
  4. Click on the software you are interested in, read the information, and enter the number of licences/devices on which you will install it. If you agree to the licence terms and conditions, tick the box and click “I want to use this licence”.
  5. In the final step, detailed licence information will be displayed.

Additional information

  1. Neither the research nor the teaching license has a model size limit.
  2. All of the licenses are network (floating) licenses, which means that licenses can be shared between multiple users within one network. The software can be installed on multiple computers, however the number of owned licenses limits simultaneous usage.
  3. The Academic Research license is intended for research (including doctoral degree research) financed by the academic funds by scholarships, grants, or directly by the University. It can also be used for teaching.
  4. The Academic Teaching license is intended strictly for teaching, as well as student projects and demonstrations.
