National Instruments' most popular software compiled into one package - a graphical programming platform for developing control, measurement and test systems.

  • Can be installed on any computer belonging to the University, as well as private computers of the employees.
  • The student license allows for installing the program on students' private computers.
  • The license can be used for teaching and non-commercial research projects.
  • There are trainings available for employees and students at ni.com/self-paced-training.

 

Two NI programs are available:

LabVIEW installation guide

  1. Log in to the AGH Panel (using your AGH e-mail credentials) and open the "Software" tab. Find "LabView, Multisim" and copy the license code.

  2. Setup files can be downloaded at https://www.ni.com/en/support/downloads/software-products/download.labview.html#521715. To gain access to the files, you must register an account on the NI website, using your @agh.edu.pl or @student.agh.edu.pl e-mail address. After registering your account and logging in, download the setup file of the newest verision of LabVIEW and launch it.

  1. Read the license agreement, check "I accept the above 2 license agreements", and press "Next".
  1. Check the recommended “Disable Windows fast startup” option and press "Next".
  1. Click “Next”.
  1. Select add-ons and drivers you'd like to install and press "Next".
  1. If you'd like to install additional toolkits, select them, and press "Next".
  1. Read the license agreement, check "I accept the above 4 license agreements", and press "Next".
  1. Read the information about adding the program to the firewall exceptions list and press "Next".
  1. A list of all of your chosen add-ons and toolkits will be displayed. Press "Next".
  1. Once the installation is complete, chose "Enter a serial number", enter the license code you have obtained in the AGH Panel into the first input field, and press "Activate".
  1. The software has been installed and activated. Press "Finish".
  1. The program will inform you about the required computer reboot. Press "Reboot now".

Multisim installation guide

  1. Log in to the AGH Panel (using your AGH e-mail credentials) and open the "Software" tab. Find "LabView, Multisim" and copy the license code.

  2. Setup files can be downloaded at https://www.ni.com/en/support/downloads/software-products/download.multisim.html#452133. To gain access to the files, you must register an account on the NI website, using your @agh.edu.pl or @student.agh.edu.pl e-mail address. After registering your account and logging in, download the setup file of the newest verision of Multisim and launch it.

  1. Read the license agreement, check "I accept the above 2 license agreements", and press "Next".
  1. Click “Next”.
  1. If you'd like to install additional toolkits, select them, and press "Next".
  1. Read the license agreement, check "I accept the above license agreement", and press "Next".
  1. A list of all of your chosen toolkits will be displayed. Press "Next".
  1. Once the installation is complete, chose "Enter a serial number", enter the license code you have obtained in the AGH Panel into the first input field, and press "Activate".
  1. The software has been installed and activated. Press "Finish".
  1. The program will inform you about the required computer reboot. Press "Reboot now".
