Statistica software is a set of tools for analysis, management and visualization of data, and data mining methods for statistically analyzing data, creating graphs, operating on databases, performing data transformations and developing applications. The system includes a comprehensive set of advanced analytical procedures used in science, business, technology and data mining.
Information required to activate the software (serial number and product key) can be found in the AGH Panel, in the "Software" tab.
The Statistica setup files can be downloaded from the AGH Cloud. To log in, use your AGH e-mail credentials.
All current orders for Statistica, including renewals, are subject to the terms and conditions applicable to TIBCO Software products as specified in the license agreement.
The additional analitcal toolkit files can be downloaded from the AGH Cloud. To log in, use your AGH e-mail credentials.
The Suite needs to be installed with a separate installer. After installing the add-in, you need to place the license file, License.xml, into the suite installation location – by default it is C:\Program Files\StatSoft\StatSoftAddInns\.
Next, launch Statistica. During the launch, an "Analitical modules" window will pop up where you need to select the License.xml file. If Statistica does not show you that prompt, you need to launch the program, go to "Plus suite" -> "About the software" and in the pop up window select "Import license file" and select the License.xml file.
Do not mistake that pop-up window with the "Statistica license" window, which is inteded for activating the program itself, not the Suite.
Statistica requires registration, which usually happens during the setup. If the registration fails (e.g., if you do not have Internet access), you can register the software using another method (reigstering Statistica is required, otherwise the program will stop working after 14 days)"
If you followed the steps described above but the registration did not succeed, it means that something (e.g., antivirus software, firewall, lack of permissions) is blocking the automatic registration. In that case, you can try to register Statistica using the second method.
If none of the registration methods succeed, please take a screenshot of the error that appears during a registration attempt and send it to info@statsoft.pl or tech@statsoft.pl.
